About me
I'm 51 years old, I have a BA Honors degree in History and Sociology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, both from the University of London. I spent 12 years as a high school history teacher and sometimes head of history. I was software lecturer for over two years, then subeditor and chief subeditor at a local weekly for five more years. Since 2003, I've written freelance articles for IRIN, WFS, Global Politician, Helium and others. I've also edited for local NGOs. Dades is my pen name.
