1. Arctic wolf
If you have seen The Grey with Liam Neeson, you probably think that an arctic wolf is neither white, fuzzy nor cute. But they surely seem very dangerous. But that just a Hollywood movie. In reality an arctic wolf looks more like this:

Now you understand why arctic wolfs are on my list. But are they really as dangerous as portrayed in The Grey? Not at all. Arctic wolfs don’t hunt humans and are not about to attack you as soon as you enter the forests of Alaska or Greenland. They are actually scared of humans and getting attacked by a pack of arctic wolfs is very improbable. Still, this does not mean they are not dangerous - a pack of arctic wolfs can kill a 400 kilo muskox so I wouldn’t challange them :-)

2. Snow leopard
This big cat lives in the mountains of Central Asia, such as the Himalayas. Best known for its beautiful fur, which is one of the reasons snow leopards are an endangered species. These elusive, mysterious creates are close to extinction as there are no more than 6000 snow leopards living in the wild. People are their only enemy hunting them for their fur and bones, which are being used in Chinese medicine.
