How to Find and Save 30 Minutes for the Next Day

There are just not enough hours in the day for anyone to get everything they want accomplished. Let’s just face reality that it would be great to complete the entire to do list and not have to push anything to the next day. But the average family knows that that is sometimes not possible. Here are some ways where you can give yourself an extra half hour for the next day if you are really trying

Problem: Laundry is Piling Up

Okay, so you don’t feel like doing housework at the end of the day and just want to wait-it-out until the weekend. Though the weekend is already booked up with parties and shopping, so when will the laundry get done?

Solution: Fold and put away the clothes that are already clean, leaving the ones that have to wash for the next day. This will help you in finding essential items for the next day and less laundry to do all at one time.

Problem: Dishes are Piling Up

Like laundry, dishes tend to get loaded around the sink quite frequently and some may argue that it is easier to wash them by hand then putting them in the dishwasher.

Solution: Either way, the dishes are going to get done, but not unless someone takes action. Putting them in the dishwasher, waiting for a full load and then turning them on will often free up counter space and at least all the dirty ones are put into one spot. Washing the dishes would avoid the dishwasher and all of them will be done very quickly.

Problem: Papers are Becoming Out of Control

Regular mail is still popular even with the increase in email. But when too many papers come into the house from kid's schools or college bills to everydy bills, something is bound to get lost.

Solution: Sort out the mail holder and put anything that is a definite “file” in one pile and anything that is a “need attention” in another pile. The file pile can now sit next to the mail holder and the things that need attention can go into the holder itself ensuring that nothing with get lost.
