It is really no surprise that women are made out of some fantastic stuff. They are mothers, daughters, teachers, thinkers and multitaskers. They are calm in the midst of chaos and strength when they truly want to be weak. Women are compassionate and selfless when need be and leaders when called upon

And, while all women have the ability to be the best whatever they want to be, some women stands out from the rest.

Some women go beyond their normal fantastic self and become simply amazing. These amazing women touch stars that seem out of reach, break down barriers, change lives for the better and go down in history as being positively inspirational and influential. Below are a few examples; five amazing women that everyone should want to know more about.

Amazing Women That We Should Know More About:

1.Eileen Collins: Born in New York on November 19th 1956, Eileen Collins was the first female commander of a space shuttle. This now retired astronaut/retired U.S air force colonel knocked down stereotypes and pushed herself to her greatest self. She has won many awards for her achievements.

2.Franny Armstrong: 10:10 is an environmental campaign founded by British documentary film director Franny Armstrong in September 2009. This campaign is a plea for carbon emission reductions 10% at a time, since its founding, over 100,000 individuals, businesses and schools have joined and pledged to reduce their emissions. Franny has inspired change in a big way.

3.Martha Fox: In 1998, Martha Lane Fox founded the innovative shopping/traveling site called lastminute.com taking it to unreachable heights. Since then she has been a strong advocate to human rights and social injustices.

4.Vandana Shiva: Vandana Shiva is the India native that has proven herself amazing. She is an environmental activist who has aided the mending of the environment with her books, documentary and Eco organizations that she has founded.

5.Michelle Obama: We all know Michelle Obama as the first African American first lady of the U.S, but there is much more to this women than that. Born on January 14th 1964, first lady Michelle Obama is an advocate for poverty, nutrition and healthy eating. She inspirers and encourages
